We had the great pleasure of staying at Woburn Villas over the Easter holidays. Yvonne is a wonderful and friendly host and cannot do enough to help make your vacation 'just right'. The place itself is wonderfully bright and clean and very spacious with a lovely, large balconly overlooking Woburn Bay. It was a great place to start and end the day and hang out with our fun and friendly neighbors next door as well.

Nestled in a residential area you will definitely need a car to get around, but it is not far from the main town, St. George's.

We would wholeheartedly recommend a stay at Woburn Villas if you plan on visiting Grenada. No doubt that Yvonne will be there with a big smile on her face to welcome you to the island!

We spent a week in Woburn Villas 19-26 March 2010 and throughly enjoyed our stay.

Yvonne was such a star - lots of fun and so helpful; including shopping for us before we arrived, preparing a meal to heat up on our first night, ferrying us to the supermarket and beach on the first day before we got a jeep, arranging car hire etc etc.

The apartments are great, large, clean and pretty much brand new. Yvonne has fitted all the mod cons so you won't be left wanting for anything.

The only thing that prevented me giving this a 5* rating is the location. It is a bit of a walking distance to any bars and shops and you definitely need a car to get around easily. That said, once you have a car it's pretty easy to get anywhere.

All in all it is a very affordable way to stay in Grenada and I'd recommend it to anyone on a budget that still wants a bit of luxury.

My partner and I were fortunate enough to spend a week at Woburn Villas in March this year.

Yvonne is an exceptional hostess! Her hospitality can not be faulted, going out of her way to help organise the little extras such as airport transfers (Yvonne greeted us and dropped us off at a more than reasonable rate), car hire, groceries and recommending places to see and things to do.

The pictures do not do Woburn Villas justice. They are truly homely, exceptionally clean and comfortable. The generously proportioned rooms and open living space provide ample room and it was lovely to have all of the mod cons (dishwasher, washing machine, gas oven etc).

The balcony is the perfect setting for a romantic dinner and glass of wine after a day spent relaxing on one of Grenada's picturesque beaches or hiking in the mountains and swimming in the waterfalls.

We would most definitely recommend Woburn Villas for your holiday to Grenada and would love to return in the future.

My wife and I have just returned from a fantastic holiday at Woburn Villas.

Yvonne is a terrific host, friendly, chatty and ensures your holiday is a truly memorable one. The apartments are very spacious and very well equipped, every apartment has a fantastic view. If you approach the apartments from the East you will see a impressive building raised up on a hillside. At first glance we did not realise that this was Woburn Villas, they looked amazing.

To be honest, we were suprised at the quality of these apartments, the photographs in the advert do not quite do the property justice. We would not hesitate to return. We just loved Grenada and Woburn Villas.

My husband and I stayed at the Woburn Villas to celebrate my birthday and our first wedding anniversary and we weren't disappointed. Yvonne was fantastic from the moment we enquired about the villa, from arranging jeep hire for us (highly recommended) to going shopping for us and preparing a meal on arrival. The apartments are huge, fully equipped and in a fantastic location up in the hills. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Grenada and would recommend a stay at the Woburn villas if you are looking to get off the beaten track a little and like to do your own thing on holiday.

My friends and I were fortunate enough to spend 10 great nights at Woburn Villas in March 2010.

The apartment was amazing. It even looked better than the advertised pictures. It was very spacious, clean and modern. Plus it benefited from a TV (cable), internet access and A/C. To be honest with you, you won't be watching TV when you see the beautiful view of the bay from your balcony.

Its approximately 15 mins by car from Grand Anse and St Georges but don't let that discourage you as Yvonne will initially drive you to these areas and if you require a car she will also arrange the hiring of a vehicle.

Yvonne was a great host providing us with supplies and advice on places to go. She even offered to cook for us as well.

Thank you Yvonne for making our holiday a great experience to remember. Look forward to seeing you soon.

What a wonderful place! Spent 5 days excellent accommodations with fine furnishings and exquisite amenities. The rooms were large and airy, very clean and comfortable. There were two full bathrooms, with large beds. The kitchen was supplied with all appliances including a washing machine and a dish washer. Yvonne the owner, even provided clothes clips to hang your clothes. The place was calm and serene with high breezes to waft you to sleep while watching your cable tv or movies on your dvd. Forgot to bring my laptop because internet access was provided.

Security is not a problem, Motion detectors provided all around, The apartment was also secured with an outside door and double locks. There is a fire extinguisher in the apartment together with smoke detector.

Yvonne our hostess, was warm and friendly and also very helpful with tours and places to go. She even arranged our car rental. She is a gem, offering us fresh fruits and vegetables from her garden.

We enjoyed our stay in Grenada, just knowing we had Woburn Villas to come home to at nights. We slept like babies. Very wiling to return to Woburn Villas in the future. God Bless you Yvonne.

My Husband and I were fortunate enough to spend five happy nights at this lovely property, in late January , early February 2010.

We have never been so fortunate with our choice of rented accommodation. The apartment was everything the advertisment said it would be and more! The quality of the finish of the property was amazing, particularly for the caribbean. Yvonne and Sammy must have worked very hard with their builders to produce such a place.

The kitchen was every woman's dream with all the things you could possibly want. The furnishings are stylish and the whole atmosphere one of calm luxury.

The location is a little remote ffom the bustle of Grand Anse and St Georges but don't let that put you off. The view is lovely, it is cool and mosquito free when we were there.

Yvonne was happy to help us with transport problems as we did not want to hire a car. Every day we took off somewhere different and with Yvonne's help we managed to visit a number of different beaches and St George's. She is a huge asset to this business with her way of providing cheerful friendly assistance whenever asked for.

We were also able to help ourselves to garden fresh produce from Yvonne's garden and wish to thank Rudolf, her general assistant for his help.

If you are looking for fab accommodation at a fair price in Grenada do not hesitate to book this apartment, your faith will be rewarded.

We hope to return and in the meantime wish Yvonne and Sammy every good wish with their venture.

First immpession...wow! Woburn Villas a must for a return visit. . Only one bad point, a nowhere near long enough, two nights, to experience the beautifully presented accomodation so thoughtfully designed by Yvonne and Sam.

Spotlessly clean everywhere in huge open spacious rooms. The Kitchen completely fitted out with all the appliances any cook would dream about, right down to the decent saucepans and dishwasher! After all if youre on holiday who should hand wash dishes.

The lounge with plenty of stylish seating, beautiful little touches, soft lamps, cushions, flower arrangement on the coffee table, tv for those that wish, door leading to the balcony with a stunning sea view and natural East wind to keep you cool....both our two nights were spent relaxing here. If you wish for the more adventurous evening then a car would be a good idea. Having said that we found the buses in Grenada much calmer than on other islands, very cheap, not sure in the dark though.

Bedrooms immaculately dressed with flowing layers of curtains rippling with the breeze....calming and no problems with any nibbling insects in the night. Heaven.

Very attractive bathrooms with excellent shower...so clean, fresh and new.

So the perfect place to stay but even more is to come...Yvonne, lovely, smiley, bubbly personality willing to help with any questions. There when you need her and quietly busy keeping the place ticking over when youre out and about. Full of local information about everything and anything which reflects in the extensive amount of attention to detail in her information pack. Very useful and time saving facts about so many holiday related issues.

Yvonne picked us up from the airport for a very reasonable rate and even stopped off at the supermarket for us to stock up, what turned out to be the best kitchen we had used on our ten island hopping holiday.

Martin and I are well seasoned travellers and would highly recommend a stay at Woburn Villas. We are already planning our return, this time with a car so we can get to see the rest of the secrets to be found on the island. Our fleeting visit did take us into Georgetown the centre and yet again we were bowled over with the civilized port area. The local market was an experience in itself filling our senses with the reason why Grenada is called 'Spice Isle'.

We had such a surprisingly delightful stay at Woburn Villas. It was surprising in that it was a surprise where it was--a hidden gem--at the end of the roads and turns we took, and without the use of street signs on Grenada. When we arrived, the place looked (and was) so much nicer than the Internet digital pictures could show. It's so spacious and ultra-modern. The washing machine was an especially, appreciated convenience! The building is new, immaculate, and tastefully decorated. Yvonne has gone to much trouble to make the villas "just like home," and even better. Plus, she put fresh flowers on the dining table and in the bedroom--an excellent touch.

Besides the bay view and the warm breeze, the nutmeg, papaya, and banana trees on the property added to the ambiance.

During the days and evenings, the large door to the balcony let in a great stream of Caribbean breeze, but for a good night's sleep, there's a quiet (thank you!) and effective A/C in the bedroom.

Yvonne was helpful with all our questions and needs, willing to give us privacy, or be available. She has a great sense of humor and genuine graciousness that made us grateful we had the chosen to stay 3 nights at Woburn Villas.
