Concord
Falls - Spice factory - Nutmeg Processing station
- Belvidere Banana Plantation
A 45-minute drive along the west coast takes
us to Concord Falls, tucked away a lush tropical valley in the
parish of St. John. see the famous fishing town of Gouyave. Nearby Fedon's Camp.
Continuing our journey, we visit the Spice
factory and the Nutmeg processing station in Gouyave where most
of the island's spices are processed for export.
We stop for Lunch at Paul's Restaurant. Fresh fish fried to perfection and served in sandwiches, or swordfish dinner with provision, vegetables, green salad on side.
At Belvedere
Plantation, nestled in the cool of the mountains, we can view one
of the island's prime exports. Here the climate is ideal for
producing an abundance crop of bananas.
