This was a return visit for me to Kalinago Beach Resort and it was sheer bliss! As a lone female traveller, there are some things I deeply value on a trip - safety, friendliness and a decent cocktail! I got all of this in my 5 night stay at Kalinago and more.

My bedroom was lovely, with a large 4 poster bed, wifi and clean bathroom. My package included breakfast and everyday I choose from the local menu which was delicious.

The staff were both friendly and accommodating and I took advantage of the free equipment hire to go kayaking off Morne Rouge beach - glorious! I sat in the pool bar trying a range of cocktails and of course rum punch. I also attended the Managers Cocktail Party (Drinks and nibbles) which was a good opportunity to meet other guests and the lovely owners.

I hired a car through Kalinago during my stay to explore the island further. I walked to Grand Anse beach which was in easy reach of the Resort. However, my favourite beach is still Morne Rouge - it is quiet but that is just what I was looking for - a taste of paradise.

If I return to Grenada, I'm sure I will be back to Kalinago again.

The Resort was excellent , the staff was very courteous, always willing to help,exemplified customer service at its best, in particular, the restaurant staff. The tour was great ,loved what we saw and ate while on the tour. We loved the national dishes, The beach experience was excellent ,loved the idea of walking onto the beach from the hotel room, intimate and very welcoming. It provided an opportunity for total relaxation, the sunsets were great as well as the walks on the beach early in the morning. The room was spacious and we loved the furniture.
