St
George's Half Day Tour
Grenada's
capital, St. George's has one of the most
beautiful harbours in the Caribbean.
On
this excursion:
First Travelgrenada's
representative will welcome you on
arrival from the cruise ship or hotel.
Our first stop is Fort
George built in 1706. Photo opportunity
for some for panoramic seascapes looking
down on a wonderful view of St. George's
Town and Carenage.
- We stop for refreshments and souvenirs at Marketing & National Importing board

Then on to Richmond Hill
for some spectacular seascapes. Mountain
vistas of the north of the island and
Grand Anse Beach to the south. Here we
will visit Fort Frederick and Fort
Matthew. Nicknamed the
back-to-front" forts.
Our next stop is the rum
distillery hospitality centre in
Woodlands. Here you can buy and sample
some of the finest rum's made in Grenada.

From here we go on to Dr Grooms Beach for some
swimming.
- We stop for some
refreshing ice cold drinks at Grooms Beach Restaurant
Then back to cruise ship
or hotel.
Restrooms are
available at the Grand Etang Visitors Centre and
restaurant.
