Grenada Carnival

Hundreds of Jab Jab Revellers flocked to the streets in St. George's, Grenada's capital and rural parishes.

A dazzling visual display by mas bands lifted the spirits of onlookers who noted that it was one of best and largest bands on the road.

Thousands of visitors mainly Grenadian nationals living abroad returned from Uk, Canada, and New York. lined the streets on Monday and Tuesday to catch a glimpse of the ever-popular Jab Jab and Mas Parade.

The spectacular week of street theatre, live music, dance and dazzling entertainment came to an end Wednesday evening

"The carnival and atmosphere was absolutely terrific, and the costumes were brilliant. We were amazed at the level of participation despite the problems of Hurricanes Ivan and Emily.
